SQR 1

Summery
Anne and a group of teachers were giving an assignment were it was required to tape themselves, while composing aloud there thoughts on the topic assigned (“My Most Anxious Moment a Writer”). At the end of the assignment it was discovered that Anne and the teachers seem to have a basic pattern while composing the assignment. What was happening with Anne and the teachers was something called “felt sense” is when writers respond to what’s inside of them. Felt sense is always inside the writer, it appears when a writer is giving a topic an suddenly images, words, ideas and feelings comes up there is when the result is not online what the writer thinks but what it feels is more expressive. Some writers like Anne used key words to remind them the topic. Also as she listens to her words she gets inspiration which is also called the inner voice. It ascot helps when the writer gets stuck and words wont come up then they will go back and read what they wrote before and then they will keep writing. Others things that a writer do is ask themselves what’s missing or if they are right or wrong this is also call retrospective structuring also cause by felt sense but it will help them with the structure and the shaping of the piece of writing.
Question
What is “Projective Structuring” about? What are some common evaluative criteria for an intelligible piece of writing? What else (besides the about criteria), in your opinion, is needed for a reader to really understand a piece of writing?
Response
Projective structuring is the process where writers focus on what others want them to write instead of writing what they want to write, this can lead to ignore their felt sense which would not let them have a living connection between the topic and themselves. Some criteria that the writers used are asking themselves if what they are writing is correct, and if it obey the rules to the rules they been taught? They also need to draw on their capacity to move away from their own words, and to put themselves into the role of the reader. Other things that us as readers need sometimes in order to understand or have a connection with the story is been able to understand the words, for example writer can used a simple words or depending on what they are writing to used the appropriate grammar or English. Also giving details so the reader can picture what’s happening helps understand what’s going on. Another thing that helps us as reader is to be able to find a specific topic so it would be easier to understand the concept. In some cases the reading need to be short because if the writer keeps repeating itself in order to get a point across it might bored the reader and they won’t pay attention. One of the things that help the reader the most to understand or gasp the concept is to be able to put itself into the main character of the story but that’s only possible when the writer can make the reader feel the way with details, expression, illusions. When a reader can feel all that emotions and can actually say I understand or I can related to this then the writer have made a great work.
